Goldfish and Koi Care Guides
Goldfish are cold-tolerant, long-lived and produce a lot of waste, so they need more filtration and water changes than most tropical fish. Fancy varieties are slow and short-bodied, comets and koi grow large and need ponds or very large tanks. Do not keep fancy goldfish with fast, nippy fish.

- Give goldfish a large tank and strong filtration.
- Keep fancy goldfish away from fast tankmates.
- Koi belong in ponds, not small tanks.
