Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara spp.) is a intermediate-level freshwater fish that needs at least 55 gallons and 76-82°F. A colorful Malawi sand-dweller; males show blue, red or yellow while females stay drab. They are calmer than mbuna and do best with similar mild species in hard, alkaline water.
