Elongatus Mbuna (Chindongo elongatus) is an intermediate-level freshwater fish that needs at least 55 gallons and 76-82°F. A slim, blue-and-black barred mbuna from Lake Malawi. Like most mbuna it is a feisty rock-dweller that does best in a rock-heavy, alkaline, overstocked-looking tank where aggression is spread out among many fish.
